Into the Roots

Being far away from home makes me think a lot about how I can connect with the life I left behind. In a country polarized to its core, losing my sense of belonging day after day, I choose to hold onto the people I love, my memories, and the small community I was raised in, transforming them into silver crystals. This is my way out.

Into the Roots is a deeply personal photography project that explores my connection to my past, my family and the places that have shaped me. I aim to reconnect with my roots through capturing memories and experiences of my childhood, the locations where I grew up, and the perspectives of the younger generations of my family.
